UNICEF UK Youth Advisory Board
I’m proud to be part of UNICEF UK’s select 8-member Youth Advisory Board (2023 - 2025). We act as a voice on children’s rights, raising awareness on vital issues for young people through our frequent meetings and other external conferences.
Key highlights for me have been interviewing candidates for the Chief Executive role as part of a 4-person panel (May 2024), writing an email campaign urging supporters to contact their MPs for COP29 (October 2024) and speaking in a panel at UNICEF’s Global Coalition for Youth Mental Health event hosted by Spotify (May 2025).
Project Viro
In 2023, I completed my first novel after working on it for ~24 months, detailing the story of a University Student and YouTuber who was hacked by a terrorist organisation.
I am thrilled to share that I raised a total of HK$100,000 for the UNHCR and UNICEF to aid the Turkey-Syria earthquake victims! Additionally, I supported Minds HK and the Dragon School Trust in their efforts to promote youth mental health initiatives. As a result of my fundraising, I was the first in school history to receive a ‘Donor Pin’ from the Head Teacher as an attending student at the Dragon School.
Kaius Shorts
Alongside my passion-fueled filmmaking videos on Kaius Vun, I also enjoy running an experimental YouTube channel where I create edutainment short-form videos on the video game Minecraft. Having amassed over 33,000 followers and 45,000 hours watched, I’m glad that my videos spark a little bit of joy across the globe!
UNHCR Biking Campaign
I designed a website and short videos to raise awareness for displaced families in Ukraine.
Along with this, I completed 100km in 15 days and managed to raise HK$100,000 for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR). I received commendation from their UK community fundraising team.
Ku Klassics
Although currently on hiatus, Ku Klassics is a weekly television show where I explore and analyse piano pieces performed by my talented grandmother. There has been 50 episodes of Ku Klassics, spanning three seasons, so far.
Linked is the latest episode of Ku Klassics.
Tales and Adventures from Hong Kong
I co-wrote, illustrated, and published a book to raise funds for COVID related causes, at the age of 10.
I managed to raise HK$200,000 for the Society for Community Organisation to support grass-root families during the pandemic, and the Oxford Vaccine Group at Oxford University for COVID related equipment. I interviewed Professor Andrew Pollard at the Oxford Vaccine Group and Dr. Bruno Holtof at the Oxford University Hospitals, and attended a live interview at BBC Oxford to discuss the campaign.
Society for Community Organisation
I volunteer to edit the quarterly update videos for SoCO, compiling clips of their children support events, to raise awareness of their work.
Mother’s Choice (Jul 2021)
I volunteered to co-produce a documentary detailing the lives of those who volunteer for Mother’s Choice, to raise awareness of volunteering.
