I’ve been obsessed with telling stories since I was 8 years old, particularly through the medium of film. My constant desire to create, and far too many hours of trial & error, has allowed me to acquire a working understanding behind the art of this media. Though still an amateur, I've had the fortune to collaborate with charities such as SoCo and Mother's Choice in Hong Kong, to spread awareness towards each of their causes through documentaries.
As I continue to grow as a filmmaker, my ultimate goal is to develop an imprint to those who experience my work, and to promote positive change, cultivating awareness of global issues. On this page you'll find a few of my short films and documentaries, as well as some behind-the-scenes 'challenge' videos to stretch and improve my artistic skills!

Dead Wrong (2025)
3 Friends Stay Up Late at Night. Something Goes Terribly Wrong.
Jacob, Joseph and Will are staying up late at night. An accident occurs and Joseph's presumed dead. The other two try to conceal the crime by whatever means possible. Hiring a body replacement goes wrong as an unhinged detective joins.
This comedy action short film has been my biggest project to date. Featuring 7 locations, 13 actors, and spanning 8 months of work - it’s been such a dream collaborating with my friends to create something fun together. Watch out for the cameo from Eton College’s Provost, Sir Nicholas Coleridge!
Pants on Fire (2025)
Two girls frantically working on their college applications get transported into a bizzare gameshow, where the key to winning is not what you’d expect.
I'm grateful to have been assigned director for one of the four main film projects at Interlochen Centre of Arts in July 2025. This satire short film was written by a former summer camp student, and explores the emotional weight of applying to university. This project was a great opportunity to engage in active collaboration and leadership, and I found it so exciting to be able to connect with my fellow creatives through the production of this film!
No More Secrets (2024)
George and Sam's warm friendship turns cold as Sam has an internal revelation. Through confrontations about his social situation, George's darkest secret is revealed.
The hardest challenge of producing this short film was acclimatising to the new gear I had the opportunity to use. Courtesy to Eton’d Film Unit, I had access to an excellent camera and microphone system that could capture each scene just as I had envisioned. However, it took some time to learn how to control every detail of the software and hardware in production!
Won Best Original Score at Eton Summer Film Festival
EXPT: Light Comedy (2025)
An experimental suspense short film, produced in Interlochen Centre for the Arts. An interrogation gets rough as a flashlight turns on the suspect.
For this production, I had to focus heavily on the post-production side. For the fight scene, I layered on non-diegetic audio to create dramatic but convincing sound design. As our on-set lighting was limited, I also used a mask layer to create an artificial headlight. I’m so proud of what we created!
The Magic Pen (2024)
An exhausted student serendipitously finds a special pen... a pen that can turn any wish into reality.
I, and my team of three, had five days to turn an intriguing thought of mine into a fully fledged visual story. With access to superb tools and gear from the New York Film Academy - I was able to try exploring different camera techniques, editing effects, and storytelling components which I had never used before. With no diegetic sound, all sound effects from this film have been added in post - which was an extra challenge on its own!
A Century of Cinema (2025)
An experimental action microfilm, displaying 100 years of cinema history - ranging from the style of the 1920s silent era to the blockbusters of the 21st century.
This film was produced as part of a collection of film challenges to test my skills. See the ‘behind the scenes’ video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sm5TcHpA0DE.

EXPT: The Awakening (2024)
An exhausted student decides to procrastinate on his essay. Following an ear-piercing screech, he finds himself transported into a mysterious dimension.
3 years prior to creating this film, I attempted to create an entire short in the span of 24 hours - now, I wanted to try to do so in just 60 minutes. This challenge required a great sense of time management; juggling scriptwriting, filming, and post-production work in such a short amount of time was not easy. This exercise helped me work on my efficiency - something vital in the craft.
Tear (2024)
Persuaded by his neighbour to 'watch the house' for him, Alex finds himself against a mysterious and unfriendly force.
The hardest challenge of producing ‘Tear’ was the difficult cinematography that the short film came with. In the penultimate scene, Alex walks across a dimly lit corridor, scattered with footsteps of white powder. Due to the lighting conditions, it was difficult to convey the repeating 'footstep' patterns while keeping the dire atmosphere. However, with careful post production and a conveniently placed light source, this problem was mitigated.
Over 200 More
From short comedies to a 20-minute martial art thriller, I’ve created many films since 2018. Through trial-and-error, I’ve worked to hone mh skills in filmmaking. I aim to continue experimenting and learning more about film in the future!
