I’ve loved telling stories since I was 8 years old, particularly through the medium of film. My constant desire to create, and far too many hours of trial & error, has allowed me to acquire a working understanding behind the art of this media. Though still an amateur, I've had the fortune to work with charities such as SoCo and Mother's Choice in Hong Kong to spread awareness towards each of their causes through documentaries.
As I continue to grow as a filmmaker, my ultimate goal is to develop an imprint to those who experience my work, and to promote positive change, cultivating awareness of global issues. On this page you'll find a few of my short films and documentaries, as well as some behind-the-scenes 'challenge' videos to stretch and improve my artistic skills!

‘Dead Wrong’ (2025)
3 Friends Stay Up Late at Night. Something Goes Terribly Wrong.

Short Films
No More Secrets (2024)
George and Sam's warm friendship turns cold as Sam has an internal revelation. Through confrontations about his social situation, George's darkest secret is revealed.
The hardest challenge of producing this short film was acclimating to the new gear I had the opportunity to use. Courtesy to the Eton College Film Unit, I had access to an excellent camera and microphone system that could capture each scene just as I had envisioned. However, it took some time to learn how to control every detail of the software and hardware in production, ensuring everything was as good as it could possibly be!
Won Best Original Score at Eton's Summer Film Festival!
The Magic Pen (2024)
An exhausted student serendipitously finds a special pen... a pen that can turn any wish into reality.
I, and my team of three, had five days to turn an intriguing thought of mine into a fully fledged visual story. With access to superb tools and gear from the New York Film Academy - I was able to try exploring different camera techniques, editing effects, and storytelling components which I had never used before. With no diegetic sound, all sound effects from this film have been added in post - which was an extra challenge on its own!
EXPT: The Awakening (2024)
An exhausted student decides to procrastinate on his essay. Following an ear-piercing screech, he finds himself transported into a mysterious dimension - making sure he never slacks off again.
The hardest challenge of producing this short film was the reason why I wanted to create this in the first place. 3 years prior, I attempted to create an entire short in the span of 24 hours - now, I wanted to try to do so in just 60 minutes. The challenge required a great sense of time management; juggling scriptwriting, filming, and post-production work in such a short amount of time was not easy. Although I ultimately decided to overrun by 14 minutes, this exercise helped me work on my efficiency - something vital in the craft.
Tear (2024)
Persuaded by his neighbour to 'watch the house' for him, Alex finds himself against a mysterious and unfriendly force.
The hardest challenge of producing ‘Tear’ was the difficult cinematography that the short film came with. In the penultimate scene, Alex walks across a dimly lit corridor, scattered with footsteps of white powder. Due to the lighting conditions, it was difficult to convey the repeating 'footstep' patterns while keeping the dire atmosphere. However, with careful post production and a conveniently placed light source, this problem was mitigated.
EXPT: 3 Minutes to Masters (2024)
3 minutes before exams start, Damian suddenly gets an urge to play football. Racing against the clock, will Damian and his friend Kaius make it back in time?
The hardest challenge of producing this short was the time and gear constraint we had. Having had this idea out of sudden inspiration, we paired our surge of passion with a dusty iPad Air camera. Production (only about 9 hours in total) was more than enjoyable, and I look forward to making many more comedic ‘shorts’ in the future!
Through the Veil (2023)
Grieving the lost of his mother, an old man called Alex seeks to meet her again in heaven. This heartfelt story illustrates the ignorance of society and a son's love for his parents.
The hardest challenge of producing this short film was adapting to a new editing platform. I previously used a software named Luma Fusion. However I believe that I’ve reached the limits of the application, and hence wanted to explore my creativity through a new and more intricate video-editing language. With this short film, I've realised that I was able to create a much more encapsulating and vivid atmosphere through Adobe’s Premiere Pro.
The Last Temptation of Little Joe (2023)
The desire for a new toy leads a child to crime and robbery. Will stealing a wallet allow Little Joe to finally get the gift of his dreams, or will he be caught red-handed in the process? Made in Collaboration with Babel Film Workshop.
The hardest challenge of producing this short film was filming on location. Unlike any of my other short films, this film was filmed in a public area available to everyone. My fellow filmmakers and I had to learn the importance of patience when passer-by’s walked past, as well as the art of negotiation to convince the Hotel Guard next door to let us film.
Just Business (2022)
A billionaire's ruthless plans for their company takes a serious turn. This story explores the themes of corruption, finance, and the shear madness inside seemingly calm companies. Filmed at the Dragon School, Oxford.
The hardest challenge of producing ‘Just Business’ was the new genre the nature of the film brought. As an avid filmmaker I’ve done many styles of filmmaking, from action to horror. However, the world of business was a bracket in which I’ve never explored, and it was thrilling to try something I’ve never done before.
Over 100 More
From short comedies to a 20-minute martial art thriller, I’ve created many films since 2018. Through trial-and-error, I’ve honed my filmmaking skill. I aim to continue experimenting and learning more about film in the future!

Stretching My Skills
I Made 100 Years of Movies
Today, I'm learning about the history of filmmaking by creating a short film in the style of a 1925 silent film, a 1950 Hollywood golden era film, a 1980 blockbuster, and a 2025 masterpiece. This is going to be a challenge...
I Made a Movie with Stock Footage
With my goal to make a movie every month of 2025, I’m challenging my editing skills by making a film with ONLY stock footage - it’s too cold to go out and record! My friend Damian is deciding whether this is just a random compilation of watermarked content, or an actual movie.
I Made a Movie with iPad mini
When I got my first iPad in 2017, I fell in love with making videos. 8 years late, I’m here to answer: did my lack of proper cameras, microphones, and editing software really pull my craft back, or is imagination the only important thing for making videos?
I Made a Movie in 1 Hour
