PROJECT VIRO AND MISSION

I released my latest novel in 2023, which had been in the works for over two years. After teaming up with my brother to co-author a non-fiction memoir, I was inspired to transform a series of short video stories I posted back in 2018 into a thrilling work of fiction - which echoes the dangers of our modern world. The book tells the story of Jack, a university student and content creator on the Internet. He has a young and impressionable audience, whom a cyberterrorist organisation is hoping to take advantage of.

Having finished the project at around Easter, the Türkiye-Syria Earthquakes had spread shock waves around the world, as images of separated and ill-nurtured families took over the internet. Shocked and scared for those living in the aftermath of the earthquakes, I decided to use my book as an opportunity to support the UNHCR and UNICEF to aid earthquake victims, as well as to MindsHK and my amazing school for their promotion of youth mental health initiatives. I was thrilled when I managed to raise a total of HK$100,000 from family and friends towards these meaningful causes!! As a result of my fundraising efforts, I was the first in school history to receive a ‘Donor Pin’ from the Head Teacher as an attending student at the Dragon School in Oxford.
